The Opportunity

ROUSSOS is partnering with a well-established South Australian commercial builder delivering projects valued between $5M and $15M. With a strong pipeline of repeat business and experienced, well-structured delivery teams, this company continues to go from strength to strength.

Due to sustained growth and an exciting forward workload, they are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to join their team located in the Western Suburbs of Adelaide. This opportunity is well suited to a recent Construction Management or Civil Engineering graduate, with 1 to 2 years’ experience working with a contractor here in South Australia.

This role offers career progression, with a clearly defined pathway into Senior Project Coordination and, in time, Project Management.

The Role

Working closely with a Project Manager, Contract Administrator and site teams, you will contribute across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, scopes and package letting
  • Preparing and administering head contracts and subcontracts
  • Cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Assessing and processing progress claims and variations
  • Maintaining project documentation and compliance
  • Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Supporting programme management and key milestones

This role provides practical exposure, defined responsibility, and ongoing development within a collaborative team environment. Have access to mentorship from dedicated Project Managers, Managers, and Directors.

This builder is seeking a construction professional with 1-2 years experience, eager to continue their career in an environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor of Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Exposure to medium-scale commercial construction projects
  • Sound commercial understanding and attention to detail
  • Confidence liaising with subcontractors and consultants
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
