The Opportunity 

ROUSSOS has been engaged by a renowned multi-award-winning national building contractor, that contributes to some of the most notable projects in South Australia valued between $20M to $300M. Due to the company’s healthy pipeline of projects across commercial, health, defence and retail sectors, they are looking to engage a Project Coordinator to support the project team.

Working within a team of tenured professionals with versed backgrounds in construction, this opportunity will see you gain the tools, flexibility and exposure you need to succeed within a business that has the resources to support your goals.

The Role

Working closely with an amazing team your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, scopes and package letting
  • Preparing and administering head contracts and subcontracts
  • Cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Assessing and processing progress claims and variations
  • Maintaining project documentation and compliance
  • Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Supporting programme management and key milestones
This position offers exposure to the commercial and operational aspects of project delivery within a supportive, collaborative team environment.

This builder is seeking a driven construction professional who is passionate about the industry and eager to continue developing their career on well-structured commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or similar
  • 2–3 years’ experience within commercial construction
  • Exposure to medium to large commercial projects ($5M–$20M)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence working with subcontractors, consultants and project teams
  • A professional presence and the ability to represent the company well
  • A genuine interest in construction and project delivery
