One of South Australia’s most reputable developer-builders is seeking a Project Engineer to join an established team to contribute to the delivery of one of Adelaide’s most significant projects to date. Valued at $250M, this transformative project will deliver across the commercial, residential, and retail sectors, reshaping the local landscape. Currently holding an accumulative project value exceeding $1B, you will be joining an organisation whose success is attributed to the professionalism and service the team provides to develop lasting relationships. The opportunity will also see you collaborating closely with the Senior Project Manager who, with over 20 years’ experience in delivering significant commercial projects, is one of the most respected professionals in the local construction industry.
 
The role
In this Project Engineer role, you will be joining a driven, collaborative and determined team that strive to exceed client expectations. You will manage multiple aspects of the project lifecycle, whilst receiving guidance and mentorship from senior engineers and a team of knowledgeable professionals. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Supporting project delivery teams through all construction stages
  • Reviewing subcontracts
  • Tendering and bid submissions
  • Document control
  • Build and foster exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Understand Safety & Environmental requirements and Quality Assurance
The ideal candidate
The successful Project Engineer will hold 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. A genuine commercial building understanding developed from the Australian market is a must. Working in a fast-paced environment and liaising with a range of people, you will be passionate about collaborating with others, and demonstrate a professional attitude, the ability to think critically and strong communication skills.
