This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Engineer to join a contractor in a strong growth phase. Working alongside experienced leaders, you will gain exposure to diverse projects while being supported with clear progression into Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager roles.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role across both site and office, contributing to the successful delivery of civil projects from planning through to completion.

The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role across both site and office, contributing to the successful delivery of civil projects from planning through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of site activities
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and day-to-day site operations
- Supporting project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Preparing and maintaining documentation such as SWMS, ITPs, and quality records
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Building strong relationships with Project Managers, Supervisors, and key stakeholders
You are a motivated and team-oriented engineer who is ready to take the next step in your career and grow into a leadership position.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 2–5 years’ experience delivering civil projects (earthworks, stormwater, concrete, pavements, or similar)
- Strong communication, organisational, and coordination skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
