Priding themselves on their ability to deliver projects of high quality, against sometimes competing for priorities of cost, function, planning constraints and demands, this studio is now seeking a Finance & Project Officer to support the Senior Leadership team.   
 
Your New Role
This is a pivotal role in which you will build relationships with Directors, Project leaders and Architects whilst being part of a large group of like-minded professionals. It will be expected that you have a strong financial background across large-scale projects to effectively manage project invoices and compare them against company budgetary requirements and quality standards.
Your duties will be, but are not limited to: 
  • Make project accounting recommendations throughout the Project Lifecycle
  • Monitor project budgets and investigate any variances
  • Interpret financial information to support project teams
  • Attend project-related meetings to inform the team regarding the status of project financials, articulating problem projects and following up on any identified actions as discussed
  • Champion data integrity and ensure accurate financial information is recorded in synergy
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, report tracking and project invoicing 
  • Collaborate with project leaders and assist in aspects of project management 
The Like Mind
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and have at least 2-5 years’ experience in Office / Financial administration with a large-scale project capacity. As this is a strategic position, previous transactional accounts experience in a project-based environment will be highly regarded. You will possess high levels of initiative and accountability, and your proactive, can-do attitude will resolve issues as they arise. The successful candidate will be a team player, and able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders.
