For more than 60 years, this national commercial contractor has delivered award-winning project outcomes across a wide range of sectors including office, hospitality, health and aged care, retail, residential, and education. With the acquisition of more projects and as the preferred contractor for more, the team are looking to engage a Project Manager who is comfortable taking the lead on commercial projects from $5M+. Locally they have constructed a knowledgeable and passionate team of 50, who are recognised for delivering the highest quality commercial construction projects. Believing that investing in training and development is vital to a business' success, so this is a great opportunity to join the team across their varied pipeline of work and build up your expertise, so you are able to successfully deliver works more than $20M.
  
Their pipeline of projects is made up of a range of education projects from $1M - $15M, community works up to $10M, health works up to $30M and much more!

The Role
This role will suit an outcome driven and motivated individual who is confident in managing multiple deadlines under pressure. As you take the lead on projects up to $30M, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and staff

  • Effectively manage the project quality, budgets and to time constraints

  • Identifying and solving issues as they arise

  • Ensure building legislation, quality and performance standards are adhered to

The Like Mind
To be successful in your new role, you will be an energetic and driven construction professional with experience 5 years’ experience working in the commercial construction industry either contractor or client side. You will bring a proven track record of project experience within the Adelaide Market, paired with relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar. Your experience will be combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive project outcomes. Most importantly, you will work well in a collaborative team environment and will be ready to hit the ground running in your new role!
