Project Manager

Are you currently working on Tier 2/ 3 projects and looking for larger project exposure? This leading contractor is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to work closely with the Project Director in the delivery of prominent South Australian Projects. With over 4 decades working across; commercial and residential high-rise, industrial, sporting, health, government, retail, education and tourism sectors, they have built a reputation for delivering above client expectations and as such have developed a strong list of repeat clientele.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will be involved in the management of the quality of work produced, ensuring the safety of all of those on-site. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Managing all facets of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, development applications, quality, safety & risk
• Defining project scope and coordinating design development
• Managing tender processes with a focus on contract administration
• Overseeing project documentation, including project summaries and progress claims
• Coordinating the appointment of consultants
• Communicating with clients and project stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate
As an ambitious construction professional, you will be passionate and driven to achieve outstanding results, additionally, you will require;

• A Bachelor in Construction Management or a related field
• Excellent time management skills and ability to cope with high-pressure situations
• Great leadership, judgement and problem-solving ability to be able to assist where needed and solve any issues that may arise in the delivery process

Previous experience within relevant sectors will be looked upon favourably.
