ROUSSOS has partnered with a leading national tier 1 commercial contractor to source an experienced and capable Project Manager. Recognised nationally for its diverse project portfolio, this organisation's capabilities span across a range of industry sectors including health, sports & recreation, education, retail, and industrial valued up to $200M+.
Recently awarded a notable high-rise apartment development – the organisation is sourcing a motivated and experienced construction professional to drive the project towards success. Understanding the critical importance of achieving effective outcomes, this contractor is committed to finding knowledgeable project leaders to ensure consistent quality delivery of landmark projects.
The Role
Working closely with the Construction Manager, and as part of the managing contractor team, you will lead the full project delivery of a significant project. Your roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Managing all facets of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, development applications, quality, safety & risk
- Defining project scope and coordinating design development
- Managing tender processes with a focus on contract administration
- Overseeing project documentation, including project summaries and progress claims
- Coordinating the appointment of consultants
- Communicating with clients and project stakeholders
To be considered for this opportunity you will hold these key requirements;
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Proven track record in delivering projects valued at $15M+ across various sectors – high-rise building exposure will be looked upon favourably
- Strong commitment to onsite safety and wellbeing
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to navigate and resolve complex challenges with resilience
