ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Spiire; a forward-thinking, people-centric business specialising in urban design and land division. Spiire is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join the growing Adelaide team, as part of Australia’s largest employee-owned property and infrastructure consultants, with over 350 employees across the country. This position is leadership-based and is responsible for assisting in the growth of Spiire’s presence in South Australia while embark on exciting projects in both the private and public sectors.
  
The role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of design within projects. You will enjoy the opportunity to build a team in a period of growth, working with Designers and Civil Engineers to bring to life complex land division and master planned communities right through design and construction phases. A key component of the role will be to engage in a wide range of integrated projects and enjoy true diversity in your work. This role will see you:
  • Drive project performance and service delivery through positive technical outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical design issues with the client and wider design team and manage design interface.
  • Lead the compilation of tender documents, client reporting, and contract negotiations.
  • Liaise closely with industry and stakeholders to win work and continue business growth.
  • Collaborate with interstate teams and engineering professionals across the business.  
The ideal candidate
Ideally you will be a qualified and experienced Senior Civil Engineer, with previous experience working on land division projects. Demonstrating effective communication skills to achieve anticipated outcomes, you will work to maintain positive working relationships with developers and local councils. Your superior knowledge and well-connected networks within the land division market in Adelaide, specifically SA water standards, will add to your experience operating in a multidisciplinary consultancy across multiple locations. A proactive attitude and desire to take on new challenges will complement your demonstrated ability to lead together with excellent influencing, motivating and delegation skills.
