The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a notable civil engineering company that delivers civil construction services to national and international clients across all regions of Australia. Through an innovative, professional and client-centric approach to all projects, this national civil contractor has an impressive history of delivering quality outcomes on a national scale. With capabilities spanning across a range of civil infrastructure works for government authorities, private entities and local councils, you will enjoy support and flexibility each day. Joining a team with lengthy tenures, this contractor is now sourcing a Project Manager to join the Adelaide office.
  
The Role
This opportunity will see you leading highly capable teams in order to execute the technical formation and delivery of numerous projects. The role will be a mix of both office and site-based work through liaising with Supervisors, clients and other key project stakeholders. You will also be responsible for running programs, organising suppliers and resourcing. You will:
  • Collaborate with Site Supervisors and the wider team throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Assist in managing, monitoring and reporting on project budget, risks, milestones and records
  • Manage project programming, planning and forecasting
  • Organise suppliers and materials
  • Undertake site inspections and maintain HSEQ standard
  
  
The Ideal Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and focused Project Manager to join a well-established contractor. To be successful, you will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in addition to a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on civil projects within the Australian market. You will be dedicated to delivering the highest quality projects and ensuring they are completed on time and to budget. Ideally, you will be comfortable working on projects up to $30M and have a strong understanding of all project controls.
