The Opportunity
  
ROUSSOS is partnering with a well-established and award-winning South Australian civil contractor, proudly locally owned and recognised for delivering high-quality projects across the state. With proven capability in bulk earthworks, subdivisions, roadworks, and services, they have built strong partnerships with major clients and consultants.

As they continue to grow and position themselves as a leading provider in urban regeneration, roadworks, and remediation, this is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in delivering complex, high-value projects across SA.
   
The Role
  
You will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of civil construction projects, working closely with the Superintendent, Operations Manager, and other Project Managers. Your main focus will be to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all key milestones and program requirements.
  
Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Procuring materials, supplies, and subcontractors efficiently, following the company’s purchasing procedures
  • Leading by example to uphold high standards of Work Health and Safety on site, ensuring company policies and procedures are fully implemented
  • Liaising with clients to address progress claims, extensions of time (EOTs), and requests for information (RFIs) promptly and effectively
  • Managing subcontractors by ensuring they are properly registered and issued the correct work documentation 
The Ideal Candidate
  
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing civil construction projects, meeting key milestones and deadlines. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams and subcontractors on projects valued between $5m - $15m is a requirement. Excellent communication, a focus on safety, and commitment to quality are key.
