Project Manager

Job description

The Opportunity

ROUSSOS is partnering with a mid-tier civil contractor that has built a strong reputation for delivering quality infrastructure projects across South Australia. With capability in FRP and concrete structures, the business delivers infrastructure across roads, bridges, and community spaces, alongside end-to-end civil works, concrete packages, and urban landscaping. They continue to grow through their ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver results.

With a healthy pipeline of projects up to $45M, they are now seeking a Project Manager to step into the leadership team. Local projects mean less time away, and with a supportive team in place, this role offers the chance to take ownership of delivery while working within a positive and energetic team environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will oversee the full scope of project delivery, balancing responsibilities across both site and office environments. Your focus will be on driving outcomes, building high-performing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring time, cost, and quality objectives are achieved
  • Leading on-site activities while managing and mentoring engineering teams
  • Conducting regular QA and HSE inspections to ensure compliance
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation including Work Method Statements, ITPs, and risk assessments
The Like Mind

This role will suit either an established Project Manager looking for variety, or a Senior Project Engineer ready to step into their first PM role. You will be degree-qualified in civil engineering (or a related discipline) and bring experience across diverse civil projects. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to step confidently into project leadership within a business that offers stability, local projects, and genuine career growth.
