We are looking to engage a detail focused Residential Draftsperson to join the team of a multi-award-winning design firm and contribute to architecturally designed projects. With over 20 years of industry experience within the local market, this builder has formed a reputation for delivering unique, high-quality design outcomes all while ensuring a client-centric focus. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate your creativity and technical skills, while building your design portfolio.
The Role
Working on high-end custom designs, this role will see you work on all facets of the building design process. You will be responsible for managing the design process and coordinating with Building Designers to ensure drawings produced are detail and align with the overall project guideline. You will also be responsible for identifying any potential operational issues with the designs, and guaranteeing all final designs adhere to regulations and that quality standards are met. Your technical skillset and approachable manner will see you become an immediately valued member within the team.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience working as an architectural draftsperson, ideally working within a residential builder or architectural studio. A certificate IV in Drafting or relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture will be highly regarded. To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge of the residential building and construction process, and the relevant Building Code of Australia. You will have well-developed communication and time management skills, and a strong eye for detail.
