An exciting new opportunity has presented itself for an enthusiastic and driven residential Project Manager to join one of South Australia’s leading contractors. For this organisation, quality, safety, and innovation are key values at the forefront at everything that they do to deliver standout projects including architecturally designed homes, high-end apartment builds, retirement living and medium-density townhouse developments. With a strong reputation in the Adelaide Market and long-lasting relationships with prominent private developers, they are seeking Project Manager to manage the delivery of exciting, challenging, and technical residential projects. This opportunity will also see you joining an organisation committed to building excellence, within their projects and amongst their valued staff, providing guided mentorship from some of the industry’s reputable leaders.
 
The role
As Project Manager, you will be reporting to the General Manager. Your excellent organisation skills will allow you to manage multiple aspects of related projects and ensure that the overall program is aligned to directly support the achievement of strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Produce construction projects on time and to budget
  • Oversee multiple projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate and program projects to a high standard
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks
  • Drive integration and implementation of operational-level projects
  • Develop and manage detailed schedules supporting commercial, functional and delivery work streams
  • Provide on-site leadership for the project team
  • Ensure the team is adhering to all responsibilities
The ideal candidate
In order to contribute to the successful delivery of this contractor’s residential projects, we would love to hear from Project Managers with proven experience managing the delivery of residential projects in the local market. You will be confident in your ability to manage multiple challenging projects and have a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle. The right candidate will be passionate about construction and delivering projects to the highest quality. Demonstrating exceptional leadership capabilities, paired with communication skills for developing stakeholder relationships, this is a unique opportunity for a PM to take their career to new heights!
