We have been engaged by a prominent local architecture and design studio in looking for an experienced Architectural Technician. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects across the education, mixed-use, hospitality, residential and commercial sectors. In this role you will become part of a design focused team, within a studio that offers a collaborative and innovative environment. Professional development is highly valued by this studio, so you will be mentored and supported hands-on by the team of directors, in addition to partaking in the internal mentorship programs and career development opportunities on offer.
The Role
This role will see you working within a driven team environment on various design project types and sectors across design and documentation. You will work closely with Architects and Engineers providing workflows, problem diagnosis and solutions, and setup assistance to all project teams in the studio. This studio is eager to offer their employees varied exposure within their role, so your role as an Architectural Technician will focus heavily on encouraging the most accurate method of detailing and documenting for the team. Adaptable communication skills will be essential, as you will be regularly interacting with the design team and a range of external stakeholders to achieve the best project outcomes.
The Like Mind
To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years of experience in using Revit for both design and documentation, ideally with previous experience working across commercial projects. You will have a high attention to detail, enabling you to deliver accurate design documentation for the broader team. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential, as you will build and maintain relationships with a range of employees and company stakeholders. This studio will provide support and professional development opportunities, although you will need to be able to work independently with confidence.
