A unique opportunity for a Senior Architect to join a highly regarded studio here in Adelaide. This studio is offering the chance to manage projects across multiples sectors, of varying sizes alongside a nationally recognised team. With a design focused team, employees are given the freedom to be creative! This is a collaborative environment, from staff to projects, and their synergetic way of doing business has seen them gather a long list of repeat clients. This business is looking for someone eager to grow and develop their skills to allow for progression into an Associate role in the near future.
The Role
As this is a senior level opportunity, you will lead key projects with a focus on design excellence across hospitality, education, sport, residential, retail and commercial sectors. As a member of the leadership team, you will work well with all levels of management and have a strong attention to detail for design, delivery and implementation. You will have experience presenting design proposals to clients and balancing management roles, with hands on design and documentation. Your role will also include mentoring and developing others on your team, providing guidance and support where required. We are looking for someone with strong business acumen who can engage with the studio’s strategic and business plans and assist in achieving goals.
The Like Mind
With 8 + years of local industry experience, you will have experience as an Architect with a strong design aesthetic. You will be a Registered Architect who has working knowledge of Revit which will allow you to assist and develop junior staff members. We are looking for a great communicator who is able to build rapport with existing and new clients along with the greater team. Your ability to adapt and prioritise tasks will see your success in mentoring teams, as well as the ability to work collaboratively.
