Working alongside a diverse and collaborative team, you will deliver a variety of local government and urban design projects across the state. The Role
This senior role will see a Civil Designer lead the design and drafting process, working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects that exceed client expectations. Reporting to the Senior Civil Engineer, you will utilise 12D and Civil 3D design software to create civil designs and documentation, whilst maintaining intricate details across your work. As a Senior Civil Designer, you will have the ability to manage smaller projects end-to-end and to grow and lead a team of designers across larger scale projects. Someone who is a problem-solver, has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about software developments will excel in this role.

To be succeed in this role, you will have sound knowledge and experience of civil design projects, ideally with experience working across the local government and urban design. Demonstrated experience using 12D and Civil 3D design software will be essential to this role. Knowledge of the relevant Australian design standards, practices and codes will assist you in fulfilling this role. To ensure smooth collaboration with the design and engineering teams, you will have strong communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with various individuals.
