This multi-disciplinary consultancy has a strong pipeline of diverse projects and are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their buildings team. Working across some of the most challenging and complex building projects in the health and defence sectors, this consultancy proves to have a strong presence in the market. As Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll lead various projects and a team of 5 junior engineers and designers.
The role
As Senior Civil Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside likeminded individuals across multiple disciplines and expand your design skills across other market sectors. A key component to this role is the ability to lead and mentor a team and deliver high quality, complex projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
To be successful in this position, you will need to have 8-10+ years of experience within the industry in a similar role and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Providing knowledge, judgment and displaying leadership capabilities are all necessary competencies to demonstrate your ability to be able to lead medium to large scale buildings projects. You will need to have technical experience and software skills involving Civil 3D, 12D and DRAINS. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong client relationships. As Senior Civil Engineer you will demonstrate the ability to lead, train and mentor a team of junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects. For the right individual this role presents the opportunity to further progress into an Associate role in the business.
