  • Work on high-profile D&C builds, including mission-critical environments.
The Organisation

This is a contractor that doesn’t need to shout,  their work does it for them. A nationally recognised, award-winning builder, they’ve built a reputation for delivering complex projects reliably, efficiently, and at pace. Their project portfolio stretches across commercial, industrial, retail, education, health, aged care and highly technical environments, including data centres.

With a strong pipeline of Design & Construct work secured across Australia, the business is currently delivering some of its most technically demanding and fast-tracked projects to date. Growth is deliberate, well-funded, and underpinned by long-term client relationships, not opportunistic tender wins.

The Opportunity

An opportunity has opened for a Senior Contracts Administrator to step into a key on-site role on a flagship project. This is not a “paper-pushing” CA position. You will be deeply embedded in the project team and trusted with real commercial responsibility from day one.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will take ownership of subcontractor engagement, head contract administration and commercial reporting, while also contributing to broader project outcomes including programming input, design coordination, buildability reviews and quality outcomes.

Candidates with strong exposure to complex D&C projects will be highly regarded.

What you will bring:
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
  • Proven experience with reputable Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractors
  • Strong capability in cost forecasting, cash flow reporting and commercial control on major projects
  • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor variations and head contract claims
  • Solid understanding of contractual, legal and commercial risk
  • Confident negotiation style with the ability to build long-term subcontractor relationships
  • Experience working closely with site teams and supporting the development of junior staff
CULTURE & REWARD

You will be joining a business that values structure, accountability and teamwork, without the ego. The leadership team is hands-on, commercially astute and genuinely invested in developing their people.

A highly competitive salary package is on offer, aligned to experience. Career progression is real and merit-based, with a proven track record of promoting from within as the business continues to grow.
