Due to continued growth, the team are looking to engage a Senior Cost Planner. We would love to hear from Cost Planners who are eager to transition into the contractor space, or experienced commercial estimators with strong cost planning background.
The Role
You will provide construction cost plans and construction risk advice across innovative projects across various sectors including commercial and residential high-rise, industrial, sporting, health, government, retail, education and tourism. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide construction cost plans, identify construction risk and provide value management throughout the initial phases of the project development through construction
- Interpret project briefs and new business expression of interests
- Negotiating contractual deviations and value management
- Consider and advise upon best value procurement options and present
- Respond proactively to commercial opportunities and risk
- Guide project teams on industry best practices on contract management practices
You must be a very confident and commercially astute individual, motivated by client satisfaction. You will be tertiary qualified, with a degree in Construction Management or similar and possess relevant design management experience in a large construction/multi project environment.
