We are partnering with a reputable national multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to engage a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Adelaide team. With a strong project pipeline for the next 5 years, this is a great opportunity to join a business that is delivering some of the largest and most complex buildings projects in SA. As their team continues to grow, this role will offer you the opportunity to lead a wide variety of Electrical packages and develop into an Associate role in the future. The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to grow into more of a senior role, either technically or more client facing as Project Manager. In this senior leadership role, you will provide guidance and mentorship to a team of dedicated electrical engineers and drafters, while working to deliver high quality and complex projects to tight deadlines. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To be considered for this role, you will have 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer working within the building services industry. You will possess a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and have a sound knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian standards. You will have previous experience in leading a team, and have excellent communications skills, allowing you to manage stakeholder expectations through project delivery. - Create key industry relationships to continue business development, recognising growth opportunities
- Support and offer guidance to Project Engineers, Engineers, and Graduate Engineers
- Provide technical guidance, manage finance and portfolio of projects
- Design, documentation, and superintendence including project review
- Liaison with client and consultant team
- Reporting, contract administration and quality audits
To be considered for this role, you will have 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer working within the building services industry.
