The role
Reporting to the Discipline Manager, you will be responsible for detailed modelling of building and infrastructure hydraulic services. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Detailed modelling of building and infrastructure hydraulic services, including potable water, wastewater, sewer, natural gas, hot water generation and storm water manages and delivers allocated project work scope
  • working within Australian Standards, Regulations, procedures, or client procedures if applicable, and established industry practices
  • Ability to technically lead and mentor a modelling team to deliver project documentation requirements according to budget, schedule and quality requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external clients and other consultants
  • Strong competence and experience in the practice of the discipline of hydraulic services  
The ideal candidate
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in building services engineering, with 7+ years’ experience in buildings, industrial or defence projects. You will have a thorough understanding on Australian standards and relevant building codes. As you will be working on defence projects in SA, you will hold Australian Citizenship. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing reports and technical specifications as well as delivering work on time and according to budget will be required to succeed in this role. You will be a critical thinker, who is driven to overcome challenges and provide solutions that exceed client expectations. Individuals that are Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer’s will be advantageous.
