This consultancy has built a presence both locally and nationally for their industry leading knowledge and high level of client service. Delivering projects across several major sectors, this organisation can offer exposure across projects within health, education, aged care, retail, defence, and commercial. Due to growth in their Adelaide office, they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team. A key factor in this business is training and development opportunities, keeping in house promoting as a number 1 priority.
The role
As Senior Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of significant projects across the Tier 1 and 2 sectors. With an agile, outcomes-oriented project delivery focus, you will play an important part in liaising with stakeholders to build strong client relationships whilst managing project teams and junior staff across mechanical projects. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience within the building services industry. You will have the relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, advanced skills in HVAC design & documentation, and a demonstrated portfolio of delivered projects. Previous experience in using Revit MEP and CAD software will be essential to the role. We are looking for an ambitious professional, who enjoys working collaboratively in a team and assisting clients to achieve their project goals. - Development of detailed design documentation and attending site and project meetings as required
- Assistance in the mentorship, training, and development of more junior staff members
- Assist in coordinating projects between SA and interstate to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Manage key clients and stakeholders across major defence projects, whilst managing multiple projects of varying technical requirements.
- Undertake feasibility assessments of works to ensure project scope and budget are understood
