The Opportunity
  
ROUSSOS is partnering with a national Tier 2 contractor that has established a strong foothold in the South Australian market. Renowned for delivering complex, high-quality projects and building strong relationships across the industry, this contractor operates in the commercial, recreational, multi-residential, aged care, health, and education sectors.
  
With a healthy pipeline of work and projects ranging up to $50M, this is an ideal environment for a Senior Project Coordinator looking to step confidently into Project Management. The Role
  
As Senior Project Coordinator, you will take ownership of key project functions while working alongside experienced Project Managers. You will play a vital role in overseeing day-to-day coordination while steadily increasing your leadership responsibilities, with a clear pathway toward taking the lead on your own projects.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive project coordination across all phases of construction
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
  • Support procurement, contract administration & subcontractor engagement
  • Monitor program timelines, budgets, and cost tracking
  • Ensure compliance, QA, and safety standards are upheld
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with all project stakeholders
  • Take increasing responsibility for project leadership with the view to transition into a Project Manager role  
About You
  
You’re a high-performing construction professional with 3+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Coordinator or Project Coordinator role, having supported projects upwards of $10M. You are technically sound, confident in delivery, and now seeking the right environment to grow into a Project Manager role.
  
You will bring:
  • A degree in Construction Management or relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of the full construction lifecycle

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and compliance
