ROUSSOS is collaborating with a leading contractor which provides civil engineering, commercial landscaping and concreting services, up to the value of $15M. With robust equipment, extensive resources, and over two decades of industry experience, this company has been involved in the delivery of high-profile projects in the state. Consistently delivering high-quality projects across the civic, commercial, health, education, transport, and leisure sectors, they are currently seeking a civil Senior Project Engineer to join their tight-knit team and contribute to a strong upcoming pipeline of projects.

The Role
As Senior Project Engineer, you will contribute to complex civil projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget. In this position, you will work both on-site and in the office alongside a knowledgeable and established team, contributing to the success of their projects and further developing your civil engineering career in the South Australian market. 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading and guiding project delivery teams through all stages, from planning to project completion
  • Developing and managing project schedules, updating production plans, and adhering to weekly and monthly timelines
  • Coordinating and overseeing construction engineering activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensuring project implementation aligns with plans, designs, and specifications
  • Cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Spearheading the Site Safety culture, including reviewing and approving safety documentation
  • Developing and implementing Work Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans, and relevant documentation
The Like Mind
You will possess a strong civil engineering background, either seeking to transition into Project Management from a Project Engineering role or already. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required, along with demonstrated adaptability to ever changing environments. Hands-on experience in various civil projects is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for effective coordination with Project Managers and Supervisors to ensure timely, budget-compliant project completion.
