We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of key projects within the Property & Development portfolio. This role will primarily involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will manage each project's master program from inception to completion. You will report directly to the Group Manager Strategic Property Development and will form part of the Property & Development team. You will manage regular communications with internal and external stakeholders, professional consultants, principal contractors, and various other key project collaborators. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the delivery of key projects within the Property & Development portfolio and be across each project’s lifecycle phase.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner within budgetary requirements  and to the highest possible standard.
  • Coordinate the feasibility, planning and design stages.
  • Manage the project scope definition and coordination of design development.
  • Coordinate the appointment of consultants.
  • Tender management with a strong focus on contracts administration.
  • Track, control, manage, and report progress for each project in accordance with relevant internal processes and procedures.

About You
You will have the demonstrated ability to successfully provide leadership/mentoring to motivate and inspire other key project team members. We are looking for a commercially astute individual with empathy and a sense of understanding, maintaining a high-performance attitude through all your ongoing works. You will be highly competent in time management, critical thinking, problem solving, both written and verbal communication including the ability to listen. In addition, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar and the ability to interpret key deliverables and associated milestone dates.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and keep informed key internal and external stakeholders across assigned projects.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / a background in a similar role with a minimum of 5+ years.
  • Degree or similar in Project Management (PMBOK or PRINCE2 certification).
  • Degree or similar in construction management / architecture preferred.
  • Interstate travel may be required.
