We are partnering with a nationally recognised engineering consultancy to source an experienced Structural Drafter to join the team. Forward-thinking, dynamic, and ever-growing, this consultancy is well known for the delivery of high-quality works and are respected for a bold, innovative approach that is built on trust, integrity, and teamwork. This reputable engineering consultancy has resources of 80+ drafters nationally and looking to expand their local Adelaide team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on iconic commercial projects within the South Australian Tier 1 space, with opportunity to work on national projects and key developers.
The Role
This role will see you join an award-winning team of drafters with significant industry knowledge and experience. Joining a national consultancy, this role will see you contribute to the development of the drafting division, working across several spaces from multi-storey residential apartment buildings, commercial low and high rise, hotels, shopping centres and transport (just to name a few!). Development of detailed design and production of structural drawings will be a big part of your role as you maintain coordination with designers and engineers within the disciplines. As you deliver multiple drafting projects, you will lead by example and oversee the training and mentorship of junior drafters and modellers.
The Like Mind
A high level of competency using Revit software will be essential, in addition to knowledge and understanding of Australian building codes and standards. This role would suit a professional with excellent time management and problem-solving skills, allowing workloads to be managed and prioritised. Experience working across Tier 1/ 2 projects locally will see you jump straight into this role.
