Recognised throughout the construction industry as the leading mechanical services firm for the quality of their installations and ongoing maintenance services, they are a locally owned and operated firm which is also known for their technological advancements. With an impressive track record of project delivery, they provide design and construct services to a broad range of clients including hospitals, research laboratories, production facilities, shopping centres, commercial office buildings, hotels and apartment complexes. We are now seeking a Service Manager - Mechanical, who’s looking for an opportunity to make the role their own!
The Role:
As the Service Manager - Mechanical, you will primarily be responsible for leading an experienced team of Technicians, to provide ongoing maintenance for Watson Fitzgerald’s completed projects. Furthermore, you will proactively seek new opportunities and contracts for the business to pursue.
Your key responsibilities will also include, however not be limited to:
The successful candidate will possess a strong Mechanical Engineering background and technical understanding of the services which Watson Fitzgerald provide. You will be a collaborative person, with an ability to develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, in order to facilitate deep client partnerships and lead the team. You will drive the efficient performance of the team and ideally, will have a hunger to make this role your own and drive the expansion of the portfolio, seeking new clients and contracts for the business to pursue.

- Providing leadership to ongoing maintenance activities
- Leading a team of Technicians and Apprentices
- Contract and client management, ensuring the successful delivery of services as required

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including the submissions and estimating team on new pursuits
