The Role
This role would suit a Site or Project Engineer with a key focus across services, or a Design Engineer looking to transition into a head contractor environment. Reporting to the Services Manager, you will assist in the coordination of all site activities in relation to services. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Assist overseeing the delivery of work on site in accordance with the design brief
- Oversee installation of building services, ensuring compliance with local regulatory bodies and building codes
- Liaise with subcontractors throughout project delivery
- Managing safe working procedures, project documentation and contracts
- Maintain good relationships with trades and consultants, the internal team and supplier partners
Previous technical knowledge across mechanical or electrical services with exposure on commercial projects would be highly regarded. Showcasing sound technical and commercial understanding of project delivery, you will be able to identify, interpret and communicate project plans across various trades, subcontractors, stakeholders, and clients. With confident communication skills, you will be able to liaise with various personalities from trades, subcontractors, stakeholders and clients.
