This is a unique Site Architect opportunity to step into a pivotal role where you’ll bridge the gap between design and delivery—working closely with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure every detail is executed to the highest standard.
This studio is known for its thoughtful design approach and commitment to high-quality project delivery. With a strong pipeline of work across a mix of sectors, this is a rare opportunity to work in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment without compromising on career growth or design impact.
The Role
You will play a key role in overseeing on-site construction, ensuring design intent and quality standards are upheld. This includes interpreting drawings, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. You will monitor site progress, review documentation and shop drawings, and provide regular updates on project status to the Project Leader.
The Like Mind
Ideally, you will be a registered Architect with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 6 years of industry experience, across medium to large-scale projects in various sectors such as Health, Education, Community, and Commercial. You will bring a sharp eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a problem-solving mindset when it comes to documentation and construction challenges. A solid understanding of Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia is essential, as is proficiency in Revit. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach will be key to your success in this role.
