Job description


This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning South Australian commercial construction company! Currently, in a growth period with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are looking to engage a Site Manager who can comfortably work on projects from $5M - $15M. This role will see you receive exposure to a wide range of construction sectors including aged care, retail, hospitality and education. If you are a passionate Site Manager, who is keen to work within a team of like minded individuals, while broadening your skills and industry experience - this might just be the opportunity for you!

The Role
You will need to be a confident communicator and able to deal with various personalities from trades, subcontractors and clients. Demonstrated ability in forging long-lasting and effective relationships is essential, ensuring a smooth completion of projects. You will be responsible for making sure your team is adhering to all health & safety requirements on-site, always the one setting a great example. 

Your daily responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: 
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and staff
  • Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines
  • Liaise closely with clients and internal departments
  • Processing paperwork and travelling to multiple sites as required  
  • Identifying and promptly solving issues as they arise 
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience delivering commercial projects up to $5M+ across a range of sectors and have confidence in coordinating a diverse range of project teams and contractors. As a natural leader, you will possess strong communication and decision-making skills, along with sound understanding of project drawing specifications. Your strong communication skills will assist you in liaising with various personalities, from trades to subcontractors and clients. Demonstrated ability in building long-term and effective relationships is key, to ensure a smooth completion of projects.
