The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established construction company known for delivering high quality commercial, hospitality, and education projects across South Australia. With a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking a proactive Site Safety Officer to champion safety across multiple sites, with project values ranging up to $15M.
The Role
This position plays a central part in maintaining and elevating safety standards across fitout and new build projects. Working closely with site teams, you will ensure every aspect of safety is embedded into daily operations and project delivery; reporting directly to the HSE Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, you should bring at least two years of experience in a safety-focused position within construction, along with a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or an equivalent qualification and a current First Aid certificate.
A solid grasp of WHS legislation and risk management principles is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and lead with confidence. The role suits someone who thrives working independently and can adapt quickly to changing site conditions.
