We have been engaged by a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, providing services to private and public projects. The company has been operating for over 35 years with their head office being located here in Adelaide. This consultancy provides a collaborative culture which guides them on how they approach every project, client, and employee. Due to the constant growth of this company and the pipeline of work, they are looking for an experienced and determined Structural Engineer to join their team. You will be reporting to and gaining first-hand knowledge from the Structural Director which will lead you to further progress in your career.
The Role
In this role you will work on a range of projects from a mix of medium density residential to small scale commercial projects. You will be responsible for undertaking the full scope of engineering design to successfully deliver projects to the clients’ requirements. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, with 4+ years’ experience working across commercial and residential projects. To excel in this role, you will have the ability to communicate, negotiate and respond to clients and stakeholders as well as excellent written communication skills. you will also be competent in using computer aided design software such as RAPT, Microstran and any other relevant engineering applications that may be required. The Role

- Engineering design and calculations
- Concept design and providing briefs to other engineers
- Documentation/drawing review
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to a quality standard
- Assist with the preparation of tender and proposal submissions
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with legislation
