As their portfolio continues to grow, they are looking to engage an experienced Structural Drafter to join their team. Operating for almost 20 years, this company provides civil and structural engineering services across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, health, retail, education, industrial and recreation. This opportunity will see you working closely with knowledgeable Directors and a collaborative team on variety of complex projects up to the value of $60M.
The role
As Civil Designer, your responsibilities will include:
As an experienced candidate, you will be a qualified Civil Designer with 3+ years’ experience in design. You will be working daily in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, so project experience using this software is essential. The successful individual will be able to demonstrate their prior involvement in the design and pre-planning phases of a project before construction commences and have strong knowledge of civil Australian Standards, Codes and Technical Practice. Further, you will be a strong communicator and conduct yourself with a positive and open mind. After joining this fast-paced environment, you will be assisting the team by providing new and innovative solutions to complex construction limitations or design constraints.

The role

- Preparation and drafting of drawings, models, and designs in 2D and 3D format to meet client specifications, project briefs and tenders
- Collaboration with design team members to ensure all design elements are considered

- Work closely with the wider team to ensure all projects are managed effectively
- Maintaining accurate electronic reporting, transmittal and submission of all advice, relevant drawings, and protocol
