ROUSSOS Recruitment recently conducted an industry survey – sent to more than 700 leaders across the South Australian construction, architecture, and engineering sectors – to gain further insight relative to market activity over the past year, and the 12 months ahead.
While there have been some great surveys circulated nationally, the depth of data hasn’t often shown an accurate picture of SA, given the survey pool is traditionally represented from within the eastern states.
By creating a targeted survey with questions tailored to SA-based organisations, we have captured valuable insight into the current and future outlook of the market, while also garnering confidence levels, predictions and industry reforms for the year ahead.
Confidence levels within these industries have presented positive results across the board, with majority of respondents stating they are highly buoyant about the SA Construction market over the next 12 months. The two biggest challenges that businesses overwhelmingly identified are, the rising costs of materials and equipment, and the hiring and retaining of talent.
